Carrissa Pickit was born and raised in MN. Graduated Shakopee High School in 2007. PSEO early elementary education student but changed majors a lot and is currently going back to school to get her B.A. in Special Education to hopefully become a licensed K-12 (SPED ABS) Academic & Behavior Strategist . Previously served as the SMSC’s Education Committee Chairperson and TNEC rep for SMSC. Actively involved with PLSAS AIPAC and appointed by AIPAC to the PLSAS Teaching and Learning Advisory Committee. Based on the reservation policies, will always call Minnesota her home and lives in Prior Lake with her partner, Tony, 2 teenage children and infant. Also has hosted 9 foreign exchange students from Italy, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand and Vietnam. When not in rigorous classes, international travel is her favorite activity. Learning how other people eat, live, work and interact is of interest to her.
