Overview

The presenter is a survivor of childhood mental, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, as well as adult rape. He also endured the hardships of boarding school and the tribal foster care system.
After ten years of extensive therapy, he has begun to heal from the traumas of both his childhood and adulthood. Currently, he works as a mental health and chemical dependency therapist, specializing in marriage and family therapy with over 15 years of experience working within the Native community. Recently, he confronted a trauma memory that resurfaced after more than 40 years. He processed this memory by integrating Western healing methods with a focus on cultural and spiritual aspects of healing.
