Overview

Opioid Use Disorder is a common issue faced in child welfare cases.  This session will improve attendee's knowledge and provide ideas to implement in practice with parents.  This session will explore what OUD is, most successful treatment options available, and why culturally based treatment is the most successful for Native American parents.  This session will provide a deeper understanding to MIFPA's active efforts requirements to implement culturally based services for families.
